What is the best drum set for 1000 dollars?
I am looking into buying a new drumset, right now i have a Premier Birch Drumset from the 80′s. I have had it for 7 years, i got it used off ebay, and it is a peice of junk. I have upgraded my snare to a Yamaha Custom Maple snare and now i am looking to buy a whole new drumset but i will be keeping the snare. I play mostly classic rock, jazzy type music, heavy metal and i do a little bit of hip hop. I will be playing live music with this drumset, and i have around a 1000 dollar budget. what set should i get?
yeah guitar center owns musicians friend, but i was looking at the PDP LX series and the Gretsch Catalina Maple which would u recommend, or do you have any other suggestions, Thanks!
