Should I learn how to play a Saxophone?
I want to learn how to play. What is a good place to buy a good saxophone for a beginner like me. Also what is a good place to get books or DVD’s where it shows you how to blow it, put it together, and how to play it.
Yes, dude, you should totally go for it! I play alto sax and i love it! But first things first. You have to choose which sax you want to play, because there are about fout types. Alto and tenor are the main types. Alto is smaller and makes a higher noise, while tenor is alot bigger and makes a really low noise. The best place to buy one in Yamaha, or Cosmo music. At Cosmo if you rent it for a year, and then decide to buy it, you get 10% off. You can buy books and CD’s at Cosmo too. You can get DVDs at your public library and at Sears. To play a sax you have to work really hard, because it is extremely hard to play.
